
Tom Bevins
Tom is a husband, father, and native Vermonter. From his early days riding BMX bikes on quarter pipe ramps to now riding his mountain bike, he has always had a passion for anything to do with bikes. He is a well-traveled mountain biker and loves doing anything outside that can provide an adrenaline rush.
Tom served over 29 years in the military with the last 17 years served at the Army Mountain Warfare School as a Mountaineering Instructor and Leader. Military courses Tom has attended include Ranger, Airborne, Air Assault, SERE (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape), and Advanced Military Mountaineering. He has also attended multiple Rigging for Rescue Courses.
Now transitioned back to civilian life, Tom has created his own small window cleaning business and also works as a guide at an outdoor guide company guiding mountain biking, rock climbing, ice climbing, snowshoeing, and hiking. He enjoys volunteering and being part of the Vermont Adaptive Sports and Veteran Ventures Community where he gets to be around great people having fun and doing amazing things. Tom has always enjoyed mentoring others to be better riders and is proud to be part of the BICP community.
