MTB LEVEL 2 BRIDGE CERTIFICATION COURSE

Why: We have updated the BICP Level 2 curriculum by adding six more skills.
Cost: $325 USD.
A new BICP Level 2 $65 annual dues membership will be added to your order. Your membership and certification dates will be restarted.
Date: August 22-23, 2024
Length: Approximately 20 hours of online pre-course work plus a 2-day in-person course. That certifies an individual as an Intermediate Skills Instructor.
Day 1 – Review and practice newly added skills.
Day 2 – Test your ability to teach and meet the BICP Minimum Ride Standards for the newly added skills.
To pass the BICP Level 2 course, participants must complete the online course prework, demonstrate an understanding of the material, and perform suitable teaching simulations.
Please note that the BRDIGE course is not the same as the RECERTIFICATION course. The BRIDGE course will only cover the six newly added skills.

The online prework must be completed two weeks prior; an online Zoom call is scheduled two weeks prior to review the online prework and answer any questions you might have.

The BICP uses the Minimum Ride Standard when testing for Certification.
The BICP Certification courses are skills teaching courses, not skills learning courses.
Therefore, the participants attending the in-person certification course should be well-versed in the skills mentioned below and must be able to perform them at or above the BICP Ride Standard. The successful demonstration of these skills during the course is a prerequisite for certification. It is, therefore, mandatory for the participants to be proficient in these skills before attending the course. It is mandatory to demonstrate these skills successfully to achieve certification during the course.
Being able to perform the skill = Proficient at the skill.
Being able to teach the skill = Mastering the skill.
