REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT CLOSES March 25, 2026
The online prework must be completed two weeks prior to attending this in-person testing portion of the certification.
We require flat pedals in our mountain bike courses because our BICP-certified instructors have trained their feet to be active and engaged, knowing that if and when they apply these foot/pedal techniques back to their clips, they will be better riders.
Pro Tip: Flats vs Clips is not an either/or decision – it’s an “and.” When possible, learn and practice skills in flat pedals so that riders train their feet to engage the pedals.
