BICP Coaches Convention March 27-29, 2026

The BICP Coaches Convention is a three-day professional development and community education event designed to elevate the quality, accessibility, and consistency of mountain bike instruction. The convention brings together certified instructors, aspiring coaches, program leaders, and public riders for hands-on skills training, recertification, and professional growth.

The event intentionally blends recertification for our members, public skills clinics, and mission-aligned fundraising. All Saturday proceeds directly support the BICP Scholarship Fund, expanding access to certification, recertification, and continuing education for underrepresented and emerging instructors.

Objectives

The primary objectives of the BICP Coaches Convention:

  • Level 1 and Level 2 recertification.
  • Crossover certification pathway for outside organizations.
  • Fundraise for the BICP Scholarship Fund; offer high-quality public skills clinics that demonstrate best-practice instruction.
  • Build partnerships with bike parks, trail systems, and local organizations.
