LEVEL 2 aMTB (Adaptive) CERTIFICATION COURSES
The aMTB Level 1 Fundamental Instructor Certification course introduces stability and biomechanics, teaching strategy, site selection, goal setting, proper demonstrations, keywords, progressions, and error detection for all the Level 1 Fundamental Skills.
The Level 1 course offers comprehensive hands-on training on the fundamentals of mountain biking. All participants will create a foundation for teaching mountain bike skills clinics, including personal riding skills, proper form, systematic methods, and terminology. The level 1 course is taught on mixed cycles of two-wheeled and adaptive.
There are many aspects to teaching mountain biking: planning and preparation, risk management, clear communication with students, group management, and being fully confident in your understanding and ability to demonstrate the Fundamental Elements.
Length: A 3-day course that certifies an individual as aMTB Fundamental Skills Instructor.
Cost: $700 USD. A BICP aMTB Level 1 Membership will be added to your purchase.

The Level 2 course offers comprehensive hands-on training on the fundamentals of mountain biking. The aMTB Level 2 course is taught and tested on adaptive cycles.

Length: A 3-day course that certifies an individual as an MTB Intermediate Skills Instructor.
