TINA MEINHARDT
Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Tina discovered a deep love for mountain biking
in her freshman year at the University of Dayton in the fall of 2000. She now works
full-time as the owner of Rowdy Ryder Academy in Arvada, Colorado, and the founder
of the Denver women’s mountain bike club “Girls, Gears and Beers.”
She is a licensed physical therapist and mountain bike coach with a previous background as a personal trainer and sports performance coach (since 2002) before receiving her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2015 from Mount St. Mary’s University in Los Angeles. She recently received the CrossFit Level
1 Trainer certificate in October 2023.
In the spring of 2022, she quit her full-time job as a clinic director in an outpatient physical therapy
clinic to pursue growing her women’s MTB club and her new coaching business. At the
end of 2022, she and her husband purchased a 2-acre property in west Denver, which they
have developed into a mini mountain bike skills training facility.
In 2024, she joined the BICP family as a Level 1 Instructor Trainer, with plans to someday join the ranks as a Level 3 IT. Tina has found her involvement in the BICP to be great for her own personal skills development, as a coach, to instruct others efficiently, and now, as an IT, to share her passion for coaching with other future coaches. In her free time off the bike, she enjoys spending time
with her husband and two golden retrievers- Rowdy and Ryder, hiking, CrossFit, learning to
snowboard, travel to visit family, build new features on the property, and make plans for
a big house renovation.
